Mary is a clarsach player, singer, composer and arranger of original and traditional Scottish music.

She collaborated with composer Tim Brinkhurst and fiddler & composer Gavin Marwick on the live score for Licketyspit’s Molly Whuppie, which she also performed in, mos recently at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe run in 2016. She has also performed music for the LicketyTale of Molly Whuppie with Virginia Radcliffe.

She is currently collaborating with Virginia on Babbity Beans (in development) – a new Licketyspit project to create a collection of new and adapted songs for baby rooms in Glasgow nurseries.

Mary sings and plays the clarsach (Scottish harp) with the Poozies and is a member of the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame.
