Licketyspit has a strong track-record of successful collaboration with other organisations. We have a long standing partnership with North Edinburgh Arts in Muirhouse and now at our new base, Community Central Hall, Maryhill.

We are currently focusing on partnerships in Glasgow as part of Storyplay City. If you are interested in partnering to bring Storyplay to more families across Glasgow, please get in touch! Upcoming training opportunities are found in CPD.

Third Sector

We work with other third sector organisations like the Scottish Refugee Council, Scottish Adoption, North United Communities and Haemophilia Scotland, where our expertise in inter-generational, drama-led play has added value and had a lasting impact with children and families. We also worked with Glasgow Life and Glasgow Libraries on Big Porridge & Play Glasgow.

Arts & Culture

On Picnic & Play, we have collaborated with over a dozen libraries, museums, galleries and parks in Edinburgh and Glasgow, including the Botanics, the Tall Ship, the Riverside Museum, GOMA, NGS Modern Art Gallery, City Arts Centre, Glasgow Women’s Library and Lauriston Castle. These collaborations have supported increased engagement with low-income and EAL families, as we bring the familiar, relaxed format of our play sessions to new venues, inviting new and existing families from our Children & Families Network.

Schools and Nurseries

We have worked closely with over 15 schools and nurseries with our instrumental work – LicketyLeap, Porridge & Play and more – now part of Storyplay. Our shows have also been hugely popular, playing to whole schools and nurseries across Scotland. We also provide Continuing Professional Development training for teachers, nursery staff and other children’s professionals in our drama-led play, children’s rights-based, relational approach to family engagement.
