Porridge & Play 2023 - back in 7 communities! So far in 2023 the Licketyspit team has delivered after school and weekend Porridge & Play in community partner venues and online, as well as exciting Picnic & Play trips to outdoor, arts and cultural spaces over the summer holidays. Bridgeton (May 23) Castlemilk (July 23) Cranhill (May 23) Govan (May 23) Still to come... Porridge & Play is coming to Maryhill, Whiteinch & our Online community this Autumn! REGISTER YOUR INTEREST. Maryhill (Tues 3rd Oct, Fri 13th, Tues 17th, 24th, 31st, ) Online (October block) Whiteinch (Wednesdays; Oct 18th, 25th, 1st Nov, 8th, 15th) Local families with 3-8 year olds can take part in the sessions which include Storyplay games, rhymes, songs, dressing up & imaginary play, a healthy and nutritious communal meal and shared reflective drawing. Older and younger siblings can also attend. Picnic & Play at the Tall Ship! Thursday 27th July 11.30am - 2pm Meet us there! The address is Tall Ship Glenlee, 150 Pointhouse Place, G3 8RS. Note that the ship is on the north side of the river, near Whiteinch and next to the Riverside Museum. Partick train, subway and bus station is a 15 minute walk away, or it's about a 30 minute walk from Whiteinch Library. Let your imagination go wild with our Storyplay games and enjoy a delicious picnic with other local families. Places are limited, so please get in touch if you would like to attend.
