Lickety Mums
The Story so Far
Lickety Mums was established in 2021 to support parents through the Pandemic. Primarily focussed on digital support, these zoom sessions were also a chance for Mums to socialise, bond and play!
We had some trips to Glasgow parks and many participants expressed a desire to become more directly involved in the hosting aspects of Storyplay events like Porridge & Play.
We call the volunteers who assist in this way Storyplay Champions – volunteers who have received training in the key expert areas of the company’s work – facilitating imaginary play, event planning, cooking and providing the food element to projects.
