Miltonbank P7/6 – Session 2
Wednesday 11th March 2020
Primary 7 did the BIG as a HOUSE warm-up and then invented their own!
We did Hello my name is Joe! And a hilarious Miss Mary Mac, which got faster & faster!
Most people really love the dressing up & created more sensational characters! You’re never too old to enjoy dressing-up but most of us hadn’t done it since P2 or nursery or at all! (Mrs Morton joined this session for the first time and became a spectacular Witch!)
We talked about how play opens up the rich imaginations everybody has. The more you use your imagination the easier it is to imagine! It’s like daring to share your ideas or drawing without worrying about what other people might think. Everyone feels that mixture of nervousness and excitement at times in improvised group play.
In the Magic Ball Senaria showed us how to make our silk into an Igloo and Liam taught us all how to drill a hole in the ice! We had two further Magic Ball adventures after that – Kerris Sean, Liam and Joel led a bank robbery with Effie and Callum, Aimee and Serania went into space – Callum told us about the Super Nova! We played In the Way of the Word too!

That’s us climbing up and then going down and writen this drawing I’ve done is us on the moon we went to Bettlejuice and then going back to Miltonbank Primary. These ones are nearly falling backwards. I enjoyed today – I felt good.
So, this character is James, he’s just wearing like himself, that’s the star I was talking about earlier Bettlejuice, the 2nd brightest star. Beetlejuice is about to go Supernova in 100,000 years. This is when a huge star burns out and the core is so heavy that it can’t stand it’s own gravitational force causing it to explode. James wants to go to Andromeda and he wants to see the Big Bang. I enjoyed everything really.
Her name is Cinderella, she’s a princess she has a limosine and a carriage. So many adventures – one she found a stone but it transported her to space, another time when she woke up she found herself in the North Pole and she’s had lots more adventures. That’s who I dressed up as.
It’s 4 people robbing a bank,. It’s Jack Danger, Small Merk, Tall Tom and….the Biggest bank heist in history. There was a dog sleeping protecting the vaults. Today was alright.
