Porridge & Play Govan
Welcome to the Porridge & Play Govan Page!
Porridge & Play Govan is an intergenerational Storyplay project for families with 3-12 year olds in the Govan area of Glasgow.
It was set up as part of our project Big Porridge & Play Glasgow, which is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
Porridge & Play Govan was due to start in 2020, however due to the pandemic, we had to take the project online.
We were delighted to launch the P&P Govan Hub in person in autumn 2022 at The Pearce Institute (G51 3UU).
Licketyspit has also worked in Govan at Riverside Primary, Ibrox Primary and Nursery, and Elder Park.
With the help of our partners, Storyplay Champions and our pals in Govan, we get together for fun filled family Storyplay sessions of games, songs, food and community connection.
The story is is just the beginning!
